Selah Sounds has taken a different approach with our IR’s to many IR producers who typically offer a range of mic positions with varied lev- els of brightness/warmth, across a large number of IR’s. Rather - we have sought to capture only the full, balanced, accurate sound of a speaker & cabinet with 1 IR for each of the 3 mics used, and 1 mic blend for each dual mic configuration. We believe this will help you spend more time playing and less time tweaking, while allowing you to use the Amplifier module in your device effectively to adjust the tone.

  • All IR’s were captured with our very own Selah Sounds 2x12 Speaker Cabinet, with a Royer R101, Shure SM57, and a Sennheiser MD421.

  • IR’s have been provided in all Industry Standard Sample Rates and in both 500ms and 200ms versions. 500ms IR’s will achieve the best re- sults but use higher processing power - to maximize DSP on your de- vice, try using 200ms IR’s as needed.

  • High-Pass & Low-Pass Filters: it is generally agreed upon that using HP and LP Filters increases the amp-like feel of digital amp solutions - try raising the HP filter to between 60Hz and 120Hz and lowering the LP filter to between 6kHz & 10kHz to taste.
