Much of the beauty of Kemper is found in its versatility – it is a fantastic studio tool that allows the player to nail whatever tones are needed for a project. The Selah Sounds Korso Pack faithfully captures the sound of a 5-watt recording amp that boasts of doing the same! From a variety of cleans to harmonically rich overdriven tones, the Korso is an extremely versatile amp that is “Sure” to offer something for every player.

Combinations abounded with the amp’s numerous tone-shaping switch configurations. We only had one criterion: each setting had to sound great! We captured a number of tones with the switches disengaged and then the real fun started. Profiles marked “G” utilized the Gain switch to continue where the basic profiles left off. Profiles marked “BD” featured the Bright and Deep switches for a scooped sound that is both full and clear. Profiles marked “P” engaged the Presence switch for a set of punchy, articulate tones.

Lastly, we squeezed the highest gain we could get out of the amp with profiles marked “GPD”(Gain, Presence, Deep) and “BMGPD” (Bright, Middle, Gain, Presence, Deep).
